Cosmo Graphis was founded in 1975 with the aim to become one of the leading microfilm bureaux in the county.

Today the company can claim to have achieved that original ambition, and its current objective is to remain the best microfilm bureau in the area. But time has moved on and the original business has developed, keeping pace with new technology so that the company has set itself the challenging objective of heing reognised as the leading source of advice and solutions in the increasingly complicated business of document management.

From our base in Altricham we process in excess of 100 million images a year for a large number of blue chip companies as well as many North West based NHS trusts.

Document Management Specialists

It is recognised that every company has its own very individual and sometimes unique document management rquirements. Cosmo Graphis can offer any company, whether it be large or small, a personal service to establish the exact requirements of that company, and then to offer the precise solutions to its needs.

This could involve the traditional microfilming service, or microfilming enhanced by Cosmo Graphis' own computer aided retrieval system, the software for which has been written by Cosmo Graphis' own internal team, or perhaps the use of digital imaging onto compact or optical discs.

In 1993 the company moved to its present purpose-built, high security premises in Altrincham, from where it services clients from all over the UK, although most are located in the North West. Although the company has developed and expanded out of all recognition since the early days, it is proud to still be a private company with directors and managers who between them have over sixty years experience in the document management business.

Cosmo Graphis has achieved its original aim of becoming the largest microfilm bureau in the North West. Today, the company is well known and respected for its reliable and quality work. It enjoys the reputation with its clients for easy communication and a willingness to help with any problem when and if the need arises.

Today the company enjoys over 250 regular clients, ranging from a small solicitor's practice to large multi-national public companies, public service companies and utilities - businesses with household names such as P&O, SmithKline Beecham, British Telecommunications, RAC, Norweb and the regional hospitals, to name but a few.
