Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
Having supplied both microfilm and scanning to the Trust for over fifteen years, we were contacted in 2006 to supply an in-house scanning solution for their Medical Records department.
Cosmo Graphis Imaging Ltd carried out a site survey for their requirements and came back with a solution to install three high volume Spectrum series A3 duplex scanning machines to carry out the day to day scanning of both medical records and A & E cards.
The system chosen by the Trust was CG Gold Bureau Software.
To enable the system to be fully up to date, Cosmo Graphis Imaging Ltd undertook bulk back-scanning work, processing more than 50,000,000 images for the Trust. The Trust now has a comprehensive up to date document retrieval system which provides information immediately for patients, reduces document storage areas and enables staff to perform more important tasks.
